Further to the review of Utopia's Liquid O&M Procedures, Construction Near Company Facilities, Attachment 6 - Supplemental Canada Cochin ULC & Utopia Ltd backfilling activities, the documentation states that a minimum of 3 days advance notice is required for notifying the pipeline company prior to backfilling over a pipe whereas the Damage Prevention Regulations – Authorizations require a minimum of 24hrs advance notice.

Companies are not permitted to impose requirements that extend beyond the limits of what is stated in the regulations with respect to areas where the company has no regulatory authority.
