• Facilities had appropriate signage at gate entrances which included company name, facility name, and emergency phone number.
• Verified facility egress gates (panic gates) were functional.
• Entrances to buildings and building doors with adequate signage.
• Verified overhead cranes had third party inspections and appropriate supporting documentation.
• Housekeeping appropriate in all visited area, including buildings, shops, storage areas, pump buildings, and drag reducing agent (DRA) skids. 
• First aid supplies present and adequately stocked at all facilities.
• Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) present and inspected at all facilities
• Site Specific Safety Orientations (SSSOs) and Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) provided and conducted with NEB Staff at all workplaces / facility sites.
• Reviewed Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and examples of recently completed documentation for isolations at Langbank Station.
• Reviewed procedures for Work Authorizations and Safe Work Permits and those in place for ongoing Line 3 Replacement Program (L3RP) construction work ongoing at Langbank Station. 
• Reviewed sump tank inspection records for underground tanks at the Souris Station. 
• Chemical storage skids/buildings with appropriate housekeeping, labeled canisters, and dispensing drums (when present) bonded.
• Continuous flow eye wash stations (15 minutes) present at all stations, monthly inspection logs present.
• Rig matting in place over buried infrastructure adjacent to open L3RP construction area at Langbank Station.
• Appropriate flagging, fencing, present in key areas to identify hazards in the L3RP construction located at Langbank Station. 
• Lubes, new and used oil stored in pump buildings location within secondary containment and in quantities limited to daily use.
• Chemical storage fire cabinets present in all workshops visited, tidy, and with fusible links present.
• Observed workers with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and vapor monitors in all workplaces.
• Jersey barriers in place in strategic areas to protect equipment and infrastructure.
• Electrical Substations with appropriate signage and grounded fencing.
• Reviewed recent water sampling results for potable water provided for sanitary purposes at Stations inspected.
• Piping transporting hazardous materials either has directional flow and product labeling or follows a station specific chart.
• Observed fire extinguishers regularly inspected and certified.
